How to File Your Weekly Claim in Mississippi

Where can I go to file an unemployment benefits claim?

You can file a claim at your local WIN Center or by phone by calling: 1 (888) 844-3577 (toll-free).

There are two ways to file your weekly claim:

1.  By Mail - Here are some important things to remember if you plan to file your weekly claim by mail: 

• You MUST timely file a claim each week.
• Your claim MUST be received or postmarked by the next Friday after you worked to be considered timely filed.
• If you do not receive a claim by mail, you should report immediately to the WIN Center where you filed your claim. DO NOT CALL - YOU MUST REPORT IN PERSON. 2.  By Phone – Call 1 (888) 844-3577 (toll-free) to file your claim. They can also answers any questions you have about existing claims.
